ESL Graduation

Whether we're a preschooler or a young teen,
a graduating college senior or a retired person,
we human beings all want to know that we're acceptable,
that our being alive somehow makes a difference in the lives of others.
~ Fred Rogers (of Mister Roger's Neighborhood)

We had our graduation party this week.  This picture shows the combined classes - my beginners, the intermediate/advanced students and assorted aides.  There are 20 students in this picture and 15 of them are either my students now or were my students sometime in the last 2 years and have now moved up to a more advanced class.  It feels so good to see them all.  :)

We have 3 weeks of vacation and then our summer term starts up.  I'm planning more games, more conversation, fewer vocabulary quizzes and fewer grammar lessons...  :)
